In keeping with its unofficial role as an Indian cultural centre, since its 50th anniversary celebrations in 2018, the Maison also organizes, in collaboration with the Fédération des Associations Franco-Indiennes, an annual Indian Associations’ Forum that brings together all associations and diaspora groups who wish to participate under one roof, in order to promote cohesion among these associations, facilitate the emergence of collaborative events and activities, and allow newly arrived Indian students and professionals as well as non-Indians interested in Indian culture to build their networks and integrate into the Indian community in France.

In addition, in order to carry out its mission of promoting cultural exchanges as part of the CIUP campus, the Maison de l’Inde collaborates with a number of associations and diaspora groups to organize festivals or intellectual and cultural events, such as:

Makar Shankranti / Pongal / Lohri / Bihu (a solar and harvest festival celebrated throughout India in mid-January), organized in collaboration with multiple Indian regional associations

Vasantotsav (spring festival organised in mid-April to coincide with the New Year of the majority of Indian communities): intellectual and cultural event with varying themes organized by the Maison de l’Inde with the participation of Indian regional associations, and invited artists or professors.
